I'd been thinking about taking this journal strictly friend's only for some time. Some things have happened in the past week that have convinced me that I really do need to do this.

I understand if this decision makes you want to "unfriend" me - I really do see both sides of the freedom of speech versus paranoia arguments. But this is my decision. And I think I'll be more comfortable here having made it.
